This is a new resturant, located in one of the arcades on the plaza -- this one is most of the old Woolworths building, owned and remodelled by Gerald Peters, who also owns the restaurant. As you might expect, it's tastefully decorated, and the views and ambience from the rooftop terrace are splendid.

My wife had eaten here a few weeks ago with her son, and they both spoke highly of it. So we both ventured there late this afternoon for my first visit. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very good this time. My wife had some sort of cheeseless vegetarian pizza, the same one that she'd liked on her first visit. Hers was underdone, and, she said, not nearly as good as before.

I'm a pizza traditionalist, and had a pepperoni-mushroom. Its crust was also underdone, and the flavor was odd, 'off', not well-blended. Pretty bad, really. Plus, my beer wasn't cold enough, and was served with an unchilled glass.

But it's a pretty place, and the service was good, so you may want to keep an eye out for improvements. But this was an unsatisfactory meal.

Cheers -- Pete Tillman
