Rome: last minute Lunch & Dinner - tomorrow June 21 - family of 3 (w/ 8 year old)

Hi folks - sorry for the last minute question. I am a US Bay Area hound, who unexpectedly has about 24 hours in Rome with my family, June 21 (tomorrow). I've tried to do my research here on the Italy board to find good places to go, but honestly my head is swimming - so many recommendations, so much sounds good. So I am hoping someone can give me a couple ideas for lunch and dinner, places that are likely to be open on Sunday.

About us - 2 adults, 8 year old son. 8 year old is used to eating in decent restaurants, but is picky (normally we can work around that). What we are hoping to find tomorrow - restaurants serving classic/typical Roman dishes, and perhaps also a pizza place. Maybe pizza for lunch (sit down), nicer meal in the evening. We enjoy bright, lively, loud places. We are staying "near" the Trevi fountain (looks like less than 5 minutes walking), and would prefer to be able to walk to places easily. We'll be attempting to hit Forum, Pantheon, and also the Vatican.

Totally unprepared, so sorry that I don't have much to go on here. Would love any recommendations, thank you!

Dex
