Can anyone provide me some insight into the various food tours in Rome (i.e. Katie Parla / Elizabeth Minchilli). My girlfriend and I are going to Rome for 4 days, are big foodies, but don't mind putting the gruntwork into discovering restaurants via chowhound or other methods.
Give that we are usually comfortable constructing a meal itinerary, would a food tour still be a good experience for us?
