My boyfriend and I will be spending 10 days in Italy this summer, visiting Rome, Florence and the Amalfi coast and I've been driving myself mad trying to plan all of our meals! Basically I'm a total foodie and he is a dude who loves food but will eat pretty much anything (not discerning)
I've got a rough itinerary , but would love help shaping it bit!
Day 1, Rome - arrive that morning, planning to wander around and would like to grab a light lunch somewhere central (need help). Thinking dinner at La Campana or La Taverna. Somewhere classically roman and not too stuffy
Day 2, Florence - no plans for lunch but would like to try to get a res at Vini e Vecchi Sapori for dinner. Are they open on Saturdays?
Day 3, Florence - we are doing a tuscany tour all day but will need to get dinner when we get back around 8:30. I imagine we will be hungry and tired. PS it's a Sunday
Day 4, Florence - need a suggestion for a light dinner
Day 5 - Back to Rome, booked lunch at Armando Al Pantheon. Dinner suggestions? Thinking of Antico Arco, Da Felice, Da Nino, or Il Sanlorenzo
Day 6 - Our anniversary! Might go to Villa Borgehese in the afternoon and then perhaps for lunch at Proloco Pinciano? Open to other ideas
We've got an 8:30pm res All'Oro for our special dinner but now I'm having second thoughts after reading mixed reviews... Help!
And then we are staying in Sorrento for 3 days and planning on exploring other towns in the area (Positano, Praino, Capri) Any and all recommendations welcome!
