Rome fine dining for a family of 18?

zburch | Jun 15, 2008 05:31 PM

Hello,

I am getting ready to travel to Rome with my husbands family to celebrate my father-in-laws 80th birthday. Could someone please suggest a restaurant in Rome that can accommodate a family of 18 for dinner (ages 11-80). We all enjoy wonderful food. This is a special occasion so money is not that much of a concern. We will be in Rome 3 nights, so would like one very special dinner and 2 more casual dinners. However, the inlaws are fairly formal, so a coat and tie required is probably preferred by them.

We are staying near the Villa Borghese, Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi. I am not familiar with Rome at all. It would be best to not to have to travel too far with 18 people in tow to dinner.

Any suggestions for excellent restaurants that could accommodate us with a private Dining Room, or comfortable table that would fit us all?
