A cousin who lives in the area recommended this place for its pastas. It's on Rt. 25, next to the movie theater. It's a tiny little place, definitely need to reserve.
The food was really excellent. I've been a lifelong white clam sauce devotee, the linguine I had with seafood in oil & garlic was up there with the best I've ever had. The pasta was just the right degree of doneness, despite having absorbed most of the sauce - not much in the way of juices swirling around the bottom of the dish. Sublimely garlicky & seafoody (clams, mussels, shrimp.) Two other dishes, made with homemade fettucine, also scored. I tasted both, the flavors of the ingredients shone through the sauces, everything balanced nicely. The three of us shared two salads to start. That, with two glasses of wine, came to about $75 before tip.
The main courses I saw going by looked good, too. The service was attentive and friendly. I need to find a place like this in Queens.
