Hi there, my hubby & I are spending our first night away from our 3 1/2 yr old twins this Fri night. A friend recommended La Fondue in Saratoga & I got a reservation for Saturday at 3:15pm.
We decided to expand on this & spend the night out too. So planning on making a reservation at Hotel De Anza for Fri night. This means we need a place for dinner too on Fri night!

Want something nice & romantic. We love good food, love to go to Berkely for a nice meal on special occasions. Eaten at Chez Panisse & love it there. Looking for something more intimate, not big & loud.

Any recommendations? The only place we have eaten out south of the east bay is Joey Altmans restaurant Wild Hare. (enjoyed that too!) Hoping for a great recommendation!
