Romantic Christmas dinner 2014- Honolulu oceanfront

katiep | Nov 18, 201405:33 PM     8

Hi all, my partner and I will be in Honolulu for Christmas and are seeking places to eat for dinner. It will be the first time we've seen each other in a few months as we are now doing long distance across the Pacific and I will have just gotten off the plane at 6:00 pm that evening. SO I would love to eat somewhere romantic- oceanfront would be ideal if possible. I had been considering Hau Tree Lanai but I am not terribly keen on their menu for 2014. The Christmas set is a little too turf-y and the larger menu would be far too much food. Are there other oceanfront restaurants that are also open on Christmas? I can't find any indication that Michel's is open on Christmas. My budget is around ~$100 per person (I am a PhD student but this is a special meal and day!).

TL&DR: romantic, oceanfront restaurants open on Christmas day?

Thank you!
