Roma Pizza, 7th Ave., Bklyn -- AVOID LIKE PLAGUE

I just came back from "lunch" at Roma Pizza on 7th Avenue near 2nd street. Avoid this place like the plague if you know what's good for you.

I honestly can't find one redeeming feature in their "pizza." The crust was dry, tasteless and like something you get to pack your dishes in when you rent a U-Haul. The sauce? I think there was some red stuff keeping the cheese connected to the crust, but since I didn't actually taste any sauce on the pizza that might have been an illusion.

The cheese was the only thing with any taste whatsoever, and that taste was bad. Very greasy, stringy and salty, it was a disgrace to cheese everywhere. It's also the type of pizza that leaves a gritty feel on your hands, which is hard to remove because of all the grease.

What else can I say? Avoid this place like the plague. Leave it to all the noisy kids who don't know better and who crowd into there from the school across the street.
