Roli Roti not quite as good...

SanJoseHound | Jun 21, 2006 10:46 PM

I purchased a whole chicken ($11) and a large container of potatoes ($5) from the Roli Roti truck located at the Wednesday Farmers Market (4pm-8pm) at Camden & Union in San Jose. This chicken wasn't the flavorful, juicy and tender goodness that I have purchased from the San Francisco Ferry Building (Saturday) and Blossom Hill (Sunday) Farmers Market Roli Roti. Even with the lime they provided, it was dry, maybe a tad overdone, and I daresay, average. I think I had better(roasted) chicken at the nearby Cosentino's Market. Maybe its because I got there right at 4pm and was served a chicken that was already "done" some time ago. Even the potatoes were nondescript and on the underseasoned side. I'm not saying it was BAD - just didn't match my experience of the 2 previous times.
