We are seeking to engineer a planned closure of Rogue Chocolatier and a corresponding transition of our equipment and knowledge base to a new owner in a cocoa producing country with the primary outcome goals for transition being improving the equity and farmer stakeholder power in production. This will give us the ability to gracefully finish out operations while enabling a more equitable outcome. When we started this business we told ourselves we'd try not to sell out our ideals or the company for at least five years with the assumption that we'd likely become jaded. This outcome would help us finish out Rogue while holding to our principles and hopefully leaving the chocolate world a slightly better place. . . "
