I stopped by Roettele AG in the East Village recently only to learn that my beloved fondue joint had closed. This place will be missed. :-(
Where else in Manhattan serves a great fondue? Right now, the only other place I know of is Michael Jordan's in Grand Central, whose tasty (if soupy) gorgonzola fondue is thoroughly ruined by the addition of garlic bread.
I like dunking all sorts of things--vegetables, breads, fruits--and prefer a variety of cheeses. Any help would be appreciated.
