Rodney's Oyster House

RYP | Oct 30, 2004 06:29 PM

My fiance and I went to Rodney's today for lunch and actually left because of non-existent service.

I've been several times before, but usually in the evening, and the place is always hopping and the service is usually great; however, today at lunch hour it was a different story.

I waited five minutes at the front entrance for someone to greet and seat. Didn't happen. I asked the guy working at the oyster bar if we could sit for lunch. He indicated to take a seat anywhere.

We sat down and continue to wait for someone to greet us and bring us menus. After ten minutes of waiting we got up and walked out.

We were not the first patrons of the day. People were sitting at the bar and other tables eating. But I guessed we arrived at the time when all staff where on a break!
