A recent find in Rochester (although I guess an article recently ran in the local newspaper, so there has apparently been some recent publicity):
Right downtown, outside of the Galleria (I think it's called the Rochester Peace Plaza), there's a guy with a goofy wooden cart selling homemade ice cream sandwiches. Last visit, there were four flavors...nothing exotic, but a nice variety, and DEFINITELY delicious. Good cookie, good ice cream---what's not to like?
I had the Granny Smith apple cookie filled with dulce de leche ice cream...very good.
AND he sells Orange Crush and Frostie Root Beer and Cream Soda in 12-oz glass bottles. Sounds like hours are pretty limited...T, W, Th, and every other (?) Fri.
