Yes, this is the restaurant that's in the strip club on West 44th St. or whatnot. You guys can mock me all you want, but the deal is that there are 3 of us considering a dinner here as part of our semi-regular (and, sadly, often expensive) quest to find the best steak in New York City. If you have a suggestion, we've probably already tried it (from top-end to places with exposed formica tabletops), and this place got a great write-up in the Times a few years ago. That being said, I haven't heard anything about it lately, and I'd rather not head out there w/o some sort of confirmation as to whether or not it's worth it.
Oh, and unfortunately, this quest has been going on since before I've been using Chowhound, so I didn't really keep any tasting notes to share with the group. I promise I'll start doing it from now on, though, if there's an audience for it.
