This seems like it would be easy but they are not coming out right.
I became addicted to the canned Salt and Vinegar ones and decided to make them myself. I roast pecans in the oven every week with no problems.
The almonds I’ve had these problem with:
First try - not crunchy. Got them at Kroger bulk section so thought maybe they just old.
Second try - overcooked and Burnt tasting
Third try - soft and not crunchy again. Undercooked I’m guessing
ALL 3 times - seasoning would not stick to them despite tossing them in coconut oil.
Can anyone help or should I give up and go back to the canned ones?
