Roast pork wonton soup at Tweety's Deli - 23rd and Vermont by SF General Hospital

I live very close to the Tweety Deli, but since it is only M-F from 8:30 till 5:30, I have only seen it open twice since moving to the neighborhood. Today I flew into SF in the early afternoon and was hungry for a snack at 3ish. I went to Tweety Deli to investigate options.

I ordered a roast pork wonton noodle soup, to go. The serving was very generous...nice simple broth, not too salty which was good. The roast pork was the best I'd had in SF, I now regret that I didn't go and ask them where they got it, since I'm assuming they buy it from somewhere....nice and sweet, a generous serving. The wontons were fine but had been a bit overcooked so they were falling apart a bit. The large and numerous pieces of bok choi were very nice. This soup is really a steal for just 4 dollars since it's definitely enough to be a meal!

Overall a great place if you're in the hospital area during the daytime M-F. They also have a steam table with chinese and other asian dishes (today there was a coconut curry, for example), Banh mi sandwiches, Vietnamese coffee, asian salads and fresh spring rolls that look pretty nice
