I was reading Le Figaro's list of restaurants with the best roast chicken in Paris and saw Le Coq Rico was ranked number one. There is a branch of LCR in New York City, which I had the pleasure to dine at a few months ago, along with a visit the same day to a Merveilleux by Fred. What delicious research! Although Chef Antoine Westermann had recently left LCR's kitchen, the chicken was fantastic.
Roast chicken is our favorite meat and based on CH recommendations we are eyeing D'Chez Eux for our winner winner chicken dinner. Not sure why that wasn't on Le Figaro's list... is it flying under the radar? Also, what did you think of the other selections? Maybe we'll add a second one. Merci.
