Roast Beef Woes

I wanted to do make a nice roast beef for Christmas dinner, but it looks like I'll be stuck with a rump roast if I insist on making beef. Selection in Germany is just...different...I'm learning to deal. Would a pork roast be better, or can anyone share a tasty rump roast recipe? There will be three of us eating and we're all medium-rare lovers.
