Another Roadside Attraction aka Stella's (Milan, NY)

We finally got over to try Stella's. There's nothing really wrong with it except that it's not Another Roadside Attraction. Gone are the yam-yam cakes, the Grandma Barbra sandwich, the other fun and kitschy specials. Booooo! The claim-to-fame pancakes are still available, however. The owner is very nice and eager to please, but the menu is now just your standard revamped diner fare--breakfast, salads, turkey and veggie burgers, etc. Service is the same, which is to say not great--completely pleasant, but always slow. I waited 20 minutes for a second cup of coffee, then had to go up to the counter to get it myself. Hopefully they'll get that kind of stuff worked out. Food was good, great home fries.
