On Monday, I'll be driving from Chicago to Phoenix. Looks like I'll be stopping in Miami, OK on Day 1, and around Santa Rosa, NM on Day 2. Any local specialties I should try? Last time I did this drive, I had an excellent chickent fried steak at Dave's BBQ in Afton, OK and good indian tacos in Santa Rosa (the Silver Moon?). I'm looking for more of the same: good cheap hearty food, local specialties.
