I just moved to this area and am looking for good places to eat. I've been to the regulars: Peterson Ice Cream--good but very high. A chicken salad sandwich and petite hot fudge sundae- $12 plus...the rib place on Thatcher--ok, not exceptional and not inexpensive; Sallys, ok--pricey, coffee, thin flavored; Trattoria Pepinos--indifferent service, ordinary food; pasta over cooked; one meatball hot and flavorful; the other frozen in the middle; garlic bread delivered cold; small glass of wine--this on a nite when the place was half empty--about $22.00for the whole meal. Molly McGuires: good food but pricey--corned beef, two beers and onion rings $25---help me out. I might have to start cooking in my hot kitchen. Or stop eating out all together! Breafast places with good (grits, bisquits, coffee) lunch places with excellent sandwiches; pubs with good hamburgers and beer, regular dinner places; chinese food without msg...jb
