I am having a small dinner party (6 or 8 people) and I wanted to make risotto. However, I will not have a lot of time the day of the party.

Can I get away with making the risotto the day before and just heating it up before serving.

I am serving crab cakes that will be pre-made, I just have to fry them up.

Any other suggestions for make ahead items.
