Ripoff at Jeane's All Star Breakfast/Philly Cheesesteak

I tried the cheesesteak at this place in Hayes Valley on Gough and Page. Boring medium cheesesteak $5.50. Didn't detect any cheese, meat was like meat crumbles. They put lettuce and tomato and mayo on it. The thing was I ordered it, they asked 2 questions:

1. Everything on it? Yes
2. Fries or onion rings? Rings

I thought the rings came with and didn't know until after I ate and was rung up when they tagged me with $2.55 for the onion rings. They were not too good, mushy inside and just 6.

I told the guy I wasn't ordering anything extra and I though it was included, he was lucky I even had enough money (I had to dig for it). So he says people who don't have enough money on them usually will ask if it is included. Don't you think that's really a rip?
