RIP Leslie Land, a wonderful food writer.

I was really sad to see this -- I have been a big fan ever since her columns that ran in the SF Examiner in the 80s, and two of her cookbooks, "The Modern American Cook" and "Reading Between the Recipes" are two of my favorites. I'm glad I got the opportunity to tell her as much, on Facebook a year or so ago.
