Had dinner at Rio Mar last night. The place is fantastic. There were 4 of us so I was able to taste lots of dishes. The tapas platter consists of several types of olives, caperberrys, manchego cheese and peppers, serrano ham, almonds, all very tasty. The ceviche tasting consists of all 4 varieties served, my favorite being the Panamanian because of the habanero peppers -what a rush! but all were quite delicious. I never knew I loved ceviche. White bean soup, house salad, oysters Rio Mar with spinach and chorizo, all good. But the true star was the sheephead sauteed with brown butter and citrus reduction. I want to go back today and have it again. Service was friendly and attentive and the lighting was perfect. They are also open for lunch with a great selection of tapas. I'll be returning soon.
