Had the best onion rings last night at Farmer Boys. Onion rings are "monster-sized" one inch thick cut, freshly battered(not frozen),crispy and not greasy. The fried zuccini is prepared in the same manner and are also huge pieces.
They claim to have the "Worlds Greatest Hamburgers", but I'd say they're just OK and nothing memorable. They say they're a "fastaurant"(something between fast food and a restaurant)boasting 75 freshly made items.
I had the fish burrito ($4.29) a huge burrito loaded with fried fish, crispy greens and guacamole. Pretty tasty, hard to finish and better than you get at Senior Fish.
Popular with truck drivers maybe because its across the street from the produce market and convenient for them to park on the streets at night.
