Don't know much about Peruvian (Latin American) food but wanted to share my experience. Also tried Bo on Sat. night and will post separately.
Went there Friday night and was very impressed with the food. Based upon what I've read on the board, I tried the tacu tacu w/cilantro and fried plaintain which was enormous and delicious. I also had the aji de gallina which did not disappoint - was not overpowered by the cheese IMHO. I tried the blue corn drink which was very, very sweet but good nontheless. Whenever, I go to LA to visit friends, I always go out for Mexican - always being served super sweet drinks with the food. I'd be interested to know why this the case - for me, they could take out half the sugar and it would still taste as good.
The place had a decent number of customers so I'm hopeful that this discovery (for me) will be around for future returns.
