Rigolo's

I was pleased when this first opened up as I'm a big fan of the Bay Bread pastries and the cafe in Cole Valley. Although it is walking distance from my office, I don't think I'll be back, except perhaps to pick up some pastries (canele, yum). My friend and I each ordered the Caesar with spicy chicken ($8.95).
The salad consisted of about 1 cup of lettuce, a few shreds of cheese and no more than 1/2 an once of dry chicken. To their credit, when we complained, they did give us more salad, but judging from the other plates I saw, our original portion was not an aberration. Perhaps they assume that the "Ladies who Lunch" in Presidio Heights want anorexic portions but I find this to be down right skin-flinty!
