Rice Cooker Fail!

Hi everyone!
So i like my rice to retain it's shape and still be individual grains and not a mushy lump.

I purchased a Zojirushi rice cooker for $100 thinking that i was getting one of the best models and that it would be worth it's money.

Problem is, i've made brown rice twice now following their instructions exactly and both times they came out as a mushy mess!

Is it me or is this just how rice cookers make rice?

Any tips?
