Rice Avenue (Jackson Hts)

I've been REALLY enjoying the curries and rice dishes at Rice Avenue (north side of Roosevelt, just west of Broadway), especially if the staff recognizes you and is willing to cook spicy. Alas, the Sripraphai model of cooking Thai spicy for all comers, which has made them SO popular and successful, is still not catching on with local restaurateurs. But Rice Ave, at its best (e.g. green curry rice) is nearly as good as Sripraphai, and the ambiance is a whole lot cooler (and presentation a lot more refined, and not in a jive way).

I've had mixed luck with the rest of the meny. Anyone have any other sure things to add to the list? The larb is disastrous unless they really make it hot. There's nothing worse than unspicey larb, all sweet and...ugh...
