Review of St. George's Market, Belfast

I am an American hound in Ireland for the summer and wanted to put in a plug for St. George's Market in the Belfast city centre. There's a public market on Fridays and Saturdays that has a wide range of local foods. It's well worth a visit for locals and tourists alike. Here is a list of some of the locally produced foods they have for sale there:
- good variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables
- excellent and wide range meats and seafood
- wide range of baked goods
- cheeses
- ice cream
- two local chocolatiers
- honey & jams
- hard cider

There are also two coffee importers with espresso stands that make good quality coffee. There are food stalls that do everything from paella to Lebanese food, to a full fry.

Lots to please a chowhound - definitely worth a visit if you're in town!
