Review of Sonoma / Napa restaurants

Have been here in the valley since after the storms. Had a chance to try restaurants, some for the second time.

Here are reviews /comments. No biases or personal interest in any of these establishments and I'm from LA. These reviews are real.

Dry Creek Kitchen -- Very small portions, should have been marketed as small (and very expensive) plates. Too precious, not enough substance.

John Ash & Co. -- Decent, extremely accomodating staff. Wed. is "Crush the Rush" day, free appetizers in the bar.

Rutherford Grille -- A Bandera sister restaurant. Not so special for an Angeleno but great food and great prices nonetheless. Never had their chicken sandwich before (do other locations have?). The grilled artichoke appetizer was excellent as usual.

Mustard's Grille -- Delighfully casual atmosphere, but very serious food preparation. Quintessentially Napa.

FarmHouse -- Lamb and steak were had by the party. Lamb was tender. Steak was flavorful. Portions plentiful. Veggie plate for the Vegan memeber was beautifully presented. Filet of stripped sea bass was light and delicate.

Anyone disagree with these coments or have anything to add? Any other must visit restaurants for next time?
