Review of Meze saturday night

thanks to the recommendations on this board, my wife and I went to Meze saturday night for valentine's day. The place is set up really nice although the tables are a little too close together so it's easy to hear the conversation next to you. It was a little noisy in there but that was expected on a saturday night. My wife started off with Avgolemono, which she loved and I had the Faki, lentil soup which was also good. That was nothing compared to our entrees'. She has ASTAKOS ME MAKARONIA which is pasta with huge chucks of lobster in it. They probably used 3 lobsters for it because there was a ton of lobster meat in it. There were also tomato's and leeks in it and there was a hint of a grated parmesean over it. She was very happy with the dish. I had the BRIZOLA which was a HUGE bone in beef tenderloin cooked perfectly. the meat almost melted in my mouth. It came with a stack of the biggest asparagus i've ever seen and a heaping of mashed potatoes. All in all it was a great dining experiece washed down with a couple glasses of LOLONIS merlot private reserve which was a little too dry but did the job. The valet even heated our car up for us which was a great end to a great dining experience. Try this place if you haven't yet. Thanks to those who recommeded it to me
