Review Luna Llena-Simi Valley

SIMIHOUND | Mar 22, 201708:09 PM     1

I went in after seeing a review by Chris Burrous from KTLA. This is a gem. PERIOD! This is outstanding not too spicy food (maybe a 3 out 10 on the spicy scale) with flavors I haven't had before. I have been three times and had arroz con pollo, soft tacos (Taco Tuesday and Thursday) and mole chicken. The mole was outstanding and nothing like any mole I have had. Tonight I had Molcajete Supremo, a bowl of sizzling beef, chicken, chorizo and shrimp on top of melted cheese which mixes with the sauce and a small side of rice and beans. This is a small place but clean and well decorated. It is family owned, non chain, decent folks. Yes they have breakfast too. Open 10-9 every day but Monday. Dont let this one get by.
