dave's chillin-n-grillin is a nice little sandwich shop in eagle rock that tends to get rave reviews on the board.

today we tried his 6" sandwiches for five bucks:
roast beef
ham n'cheese

dave only offers his famed snow crab sandwich three days out of the month to his regulars because he was losing money on it. he also doesn't have meatballs all the time, so i'd call ahead if you're ordering the meatball sandwich.

also another note on dave's, he prides himself on using ingredients that have less chemicals and quality but leaner meats so it's a healthier alternative. this is more like the jamba juice version of a deli than an old-time ny deli. it's not a deli that i'd drive too far away for, but if you're in the area, dave is a gregarious guy and its a decent option for lunch or dinner.

his ice cream comes from the creamery, but he's less interested in the ice cream and more into his sherbert in the coolers.

Things that might be interesting to try are the snow crab sandwich, the meatball, and the tuna melt, the lime and raspberry ricki.
