Review of Casa Vinho on Masson street

I had dinner tonight on Masson at Casa vinho with a friend of mine. We both live near the restaurant and decided to try it after a hard day's word. We both liked our experience at this restaurant. It is a little "hole in the wall" restaurant that does not look much from outside, but it is a nice place. The table d'hôte is around 17$ for a chicken kebab with a soup or a salad and dessert and coffee. They even had a "cerf medaillon" for 21$ on their table d'hôte. My friend had a seafood rice which was 18$ and I ended up finishing it because it had lots of seafood and fish in it. It had mussels, clams, 3 gigantic shrimps, calamari and fish. I had the "bar raye" which was whole. We had a bottle Villa Regia which cost 23$. Everything was really good and it is a laid back atmosphere with people dining at the bar and the father of the cook greeting guests and looking mighty proud of him.

I highly recommand this place for a nice meal that does not break the bank and where the food is excellent!
