Review of Blue Room (Long)

Went to the Blue Room for Easter Brunch - had a great time, as always.

Started off with a wonderful asian pasta salad and a delightful chopped octopus salad. The octopus salad was superb - came with fresh tortilla chips on the side (reminded me of Spain!). Followed that up with grilled flank steak with a chile sauce, fresh corn grits, and a lentil and asparagus salad. Awesome stuff!

Went up for seconds and grabbed some freshly grilled lamb with a spice rub, 5-spice ribs, their signature spanish eggs, and the greatest little pork sausage meatballs!

Finally hit the desert table and grabbed a scoop of persian rice pudding and some tropical fruit cobbler. Washed it all down with their amazing coffee (apparently they just switched vendors and the new coffee rocks!)

Service was excellent - unassuming but present. I've been to brunch at the Blue Room a few times now, and the food is always good, the service solid and the atmosphere exactly what brunch should be - tasty and relaxing.
