Hi, I just wanted to share an amusing occurrence that happened to me last week.
We've all heard about people asking for their favorite server. I do it all the time. However, last week it happened to me in reverse.
I went to one of my regular restaurants. There's a couple of waiters there that know me and sometimes look after me. I make a point of being extra nice/generous with them.
This time I didn't ask to sit in anyone's section. It was just a random seating. I was kind of hoping it would a random server because I wasn't in the mood for chatting etc.
While waiting to be served, "Andrew" who has waited on me a couple of times walked by and said "Nice to see you again. This isn't my section but I'll ask the other server if I can look after you instead." I said, Great! Thanks! and then Andrew looked after me that night.
I thought, this is what you call a "reverse takeover" LOL.
