OK, here's the story.
We're somewhat frequent visitors to Tabla/Breadbar in Manhattan. Last time there, I mentioned how much we love the popcorn they serve at the bar, and the manager comp'ed us a bag of it, along with a bag of the spice mix to make our own.
The spice mix ingredients are Cumin, Paprika, Cayenne, and Chat Masala.
1) What's Chat Masala and where do I get it?
2) I'm assuming sweet paprika, not hot. Am I crazy?
3) Anyone enough of a fan to take a stab at what the proportions might be?
