Well, it was the beginning of Eid al-Adha so there weren't many Bangladesh"ee"s there... not much of ANYONE there. Which was sad, because I hadn't really had much Mina since she left Sunnyside. I went to Angon once, which was fine, but o-so-crowded.
I had the Dal Fry and Kashmiri Chicken as well as my beloved Samosa Chat. The Samosa Chat was as good as ever. The Kashmiri Chicken was, perhaps, too sweet for my taste, but leaving it until the next night (from the generous portions) allowed the seasonings to marry a bit better. The Dal Fry was spectacular. Oniony, roasty, lentilly goodness.
I'm so sad that a new baby has kept me from my Mina. But I'll happily sell him for more of your food. Okay, no. But I can't wait to go back
