Several years ago, we had a wonderful dinner at Epazote, which specializes in mole pairings with meat/seafood/veggies. Then they lost the lease. Now they are back in the food enclave with Harry's Road House and Steaksmith on Old Las Vegas Highway.
They only do lunch for now, will ramp up to doing dinners by April. The venue is a little funky imo. A large greenhouse shed accommodating succulents and yucca plants next to the diners. The food is still great as before. We chose 2 moles out of three to match with duck and rack of lamb. The New Mexican mole (fruit based) was spectacular with lamb. The slightly smoky poblano mole complimented the duck well. They also have small bites of food to be cooked on hot stone at the table. The 4 dipping sauces were quite distinct from each other. Very fun. Anyone else been lately?
