a return to Coral Gables

5 for dinner the other night at Chocolate. (http://chocolaterestaurantmiami.com/d...) Excellent service and wine selection.
And great food. 3 Pampa salads, 2 rack of Lambs, 2 Ostrich fillets. I forget what else, but everyone was satiated and happy with the choice. Around $100pp.

I returned to Ortanique the other night. The music was way to loud, so much so that the M'd had the band close down. The WbtG was weak (OK half my fault) and the mains weren't nearly as interesting as I remember from last year; although the ceviche was very nice. Desserts were very good.

Chispa tonite, (http://www.chisparestaurant.com/) was very good, though we had an abbreviated dinner due to our work schedule; I'd go back for a real sit down.
We had shrimp ceviche, mahi ceviche, seared marinated octopus, Goat Cheese Rellenos, though we were shorted the chorizo with it, and chopped green salad. We had 2 rather expensive WbtG, (Cavia Malbec, St Supery Cab) but both were excellent; next time a whole bottle.
Service was excellent. $96 w/t&t
