Last night I thought of launching a new thread on this topic, more or less:
Essentially I was going to ask, which restaurants' reviews / ratings by -The NY Times- are sorely out of date (or were wrong to begin with -- or never even properly reviewed)? Some of Eater's recommendations have definitely been on my mind (The Modern, Lupa).
I've only been to Colicchio and Sons once for dinner, but though it wasn't bad, it wasn't three-star good either. I felt a tad hoodwinked.
Is there actually a groundswell of feeling that Aldea may be worth three stars (I've never been myself)?
