According to today's Food section, a new Euro-fusion cuisine with an emphasis on light Belgian food, restaurant is about to open on 8th St. SE on Capitol Hill. The place is called Belga Cafe and is supposed to carry 20 Belgian beers (Gareth - are you reading this?!) in addition to a variety of the Belgian staple - mussels with fries.

In a K-Mart shopping center in Herndon, a market/cafe called the Russian Gourmet is about to open selling Russian and Eastern European delicacies. It's the new sibling of a Russian Gourmet in Rockville.
