Restaurants Open on Long island

robinsilver | Nov 2, 2012 03:34 PM

I thought I would start a thread about any restaurants that people know of that have power and are open, for all of us who are coping with the storm, and still are without power.
Thyme in Roslyn sent out the nicest e-mail about allowing people to charge their electronics when they come in to eat. They are also open for lunch, and have a children's menu for now, which they normally do not have. Some of the other restaurants in the town of Roslyn must be open too, because I know that the library has power, strange as it may sound because the water comes almost up to Old Northern Blvd there.

Mitch & Toni's in Albertson is open, but they are only taking cash.
Sotto Luna in Roslyn Heights - and the Starbucks that is right there as well
Morton's in Great Neck is open.
Wild Fig in Garden City
Mumon must be open too, because they are in the building where Healthtrax is, and they are open - if you are a member you can even take a shower there.
City Cellar and Dave's Bar-b-que, Capital Grille and Houston's - in and near Roosevelt Field
I am sure there are many others, but these are the ones I thought of off the top of my head.
