Any Serious Restaurants in Niagara?

MichelinHound | Jul 8, 201607:55 PM     3

Really, whether it's Niagara-on-the-Lake or Niagara Falls, Ontario, all "top" restaurants that are listed are so generic and boringly identical. They all seem to be settling on mediocrity and cruising along, catering to the non-demanding tourist crowds.

Even the previous "stars" like Inn on the Twenty, Treadwell or the Hillebrand restaurant have fallen back from their glory days. And in Niagara Falls, hotel restaurants take over the list.

Are there any hidden gems in that area where the chef is really there and doing something interesting? Am still looking, and would love to hear from the community.
