So I just saw the new list of the best restaurants in Europe from OAD.
I’m from Denmark and I knew we have some pretty decent restaurants here, but we’re only 6 million people total in Denmark, that’s like half of London, yet we manage to have 3 restaurants in Top 11 on that list (the number one spot with Alchemist (2* Michelin), the number 10 spot with Geranium (3* Michelin) and number 11 spot with Noma (2* Michelin)

In Top 53 there are a total of 9 danish restaurants - 25 years ago this would’ve been impossible.
I live in Copenhagen where many of these top restaurants are situated and it’s a joy to be able to pick from so many high class restaurants in such a relatively small city like Copenhagen (only 1.5 million in Copenhagen )

Am I allowed to be proud over this top list as a Dane ?

Cheers, Claus from Copenhagen in Denmark
