I have tried 2 out of 3 that I know and both are quite good. Any other's you know and would recommend in this region?
Peter Chang: cooked for Chinese embassy till 2005, has several restaurants bearing his name mostly in VA and one in Rockville, MD. Pretty decent representation of Szechuan regional cuisine. http://peterchangarlington.com
Francis Layrle: cooked for French embassy till 2006, he runs a beautiful and cozy bistro named La Piquette in DC with tight wine list and comforting provencal fare. Hands down the best French bistro in the region imo. http://www.lapiquettedc.com/
Arnaud Herodet: pastry chef for French embassy since 1996, he sells his products made to order out of his home as well as at several markets. I have not tried this yet, but by all account sounds great. http://www.arnospastry.com/home.html
