I just returned from a very good chow trip to Chicago and was wondering if there are any restaurants in the city that are at the same level in each respective cuisine listed below.
Greek Islands - possibly the best greek food I've ever had. Specialities included grilled octopus, stuffed squid, etc.
Fogo De Chao -- does Espetus really compare to Fogo?
ITALIAN BEEF(beef sandwich dipped in jus)
Al's -- I know SF probably doens't have anything like this, but there's always a chance.
I have to admit, anything related to meat or cheese seemed to taste much better out there than in SF. Fortunately, our dimsum still knocks them out of the water.
